The Heritage
The House of Manuel Pertegaz
Manuel Pertegaz builds across five decades with woods at its center—cedar, vetiver, sandalwood anchoring skin—layered through citrus brightness and floral softness. The eleven fragrances chart a consistent sensibility: neither austere nor ornamental, they favor clarity over noise, a dry woody spine that lets bergamot and neroli cut clean, or lets rose and jasmine breathe without drowning in amber. From 1965 through 2018, the house sustains a restrained elegance, unadorned compositions that smell like refinement earned rather than proclaimed.
