The Heritage
The House of Knize
Knize anchors itself in leather—earthy, worn, intimate—threaded through eight decades of composition. Florals soften the backbone without dissolving it; woods ground the whole in warm, almost tobacco-tinged depth. Between 1920 and 2000, the house built a narrow, cohesive vocabulary: leather and florality in dialogue, never showy, never straying far from that core leather-woody spine. Smell here is austere, lived-in, grounded in skin and aged hide.
