The House of Florascent
Across thirteen compositions spanning 2008 to 2014, Florascent cultivates a restless interplay between bloom and depth. Florals dominate—sharp petals, soft abstractions—yet wood and resin persistently ground the work, pulling brightness into amber and shadow. The house moves between translucent flower and warm, creeping base, rarely settling into either pure lightness or full darkness. Within that tension lives its signature: florals that smell inhabited, almost aged.
