The House of Ensar Oud
Ensar Oud's five compositions from 2018 to 2020 trace a path through layered orientalism and floral depth. The house leans toward warm, resinous amber and soft florals—blooms suspended in creamy, woody undertones rather than bright or sharp. Across the span, the work gravitates toward intimacy: enveloping, skin-close, with an unhurried unfolding. Florals meld into oriental warmth rather than standing apart, creating a sensual, almost velvety character that favors shadow and softness over projection.
