The Heritage
The House of Artalep
Artalep's sole 2009 release opens with bright citrus—sharp, clean, almost austere in its clarity. The composition strips away excess, letting zest and pith speak plainly. There is no sweetness masking the frame; instead, a crisp, almost mineral quality lingers beneath, as though citrus oil has been pressed against cool stone. The result feels stripped and architectural rather than indulgent.
