Alexandre Marc composes in woody and fresh registers, moving between clean mineral brightness and warm timber depth. Across four fragrances since 2015, the house gravitates toward crisp, aerated woods—cypress and cedarwood lit by citrus and aquatic notes—then pivots toward denser, resinous compositions where vetiver and incense ground the freshness. The work reads lean, linear, unadorned; there's little baroque sweetness or dark amber here, only the precise geometry of green wood and cool air meeting earthy roots.
